2022 Mollydooker The Scooter Merlot McLaren Vale – The grapes for the Scooter come from their sustainably grown Long Gully Road blocks in McLaren Vale. Barrel fermented and matured in 96% American oak and 4% French Oak using 19% new, 41% one year old and 40% two year old barrels.This vibrant and lifted Merlot exudes rich plum flavours with undertones of both red and dark fruits with a soft touch of oak. As the wine develops in the glass, layers of chocolate, nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom spices come to the fore.
