2022 Meerea Park XYZ Semillon Hunter Valley – The ‘XYZ’ brand wines constitute modern styles of Semillon, Chardonnay and Shiraz. New Generation wines from the Hunter Valley.Grapes used to make this Semillon was sourced from the old-vine vine ‘Lochleven’ vineyard in Pokolbin. The block was planted in 1973.Light straw colour, almost with a green tinge. There is a lemon butter nose with lemon sherbet like aromas. The palate is flavoursome but kept fresh with pitch perfect acidity and typical lemon/lime/citrus flavours.
